Elegy’s “ Forbidden Fruit” 2024 Remaster debut digital release recaptures their progressive metal roots, emphasizing the band’s earlier uptempo style portrayed in “Labyrinth of Dreams & Supremacy”. 11 (+ bonus) powerful co-written songs from guitarist Henk van de Laars & features Patrick Rondat on guitar (Jean Michel Jarre); Ian Parry (vocals); Martin Helmantel (bass) & Dirk Bruinenberg drums.
A touch of Nostalgia. In 1995 I filmed this promotional video called “Wildhearts” taken from my 3rd solo album Ian Parry “Through The Looking-Glass” 2024 Remaster.
We filmed the video in and around the original warehouses on the Wilhelminakade in the Rotterdam haven, Netherlands, which has since been removed, so I am glad we have this nostalgic video.
I restored the original video from VHS video tape as good as possible & added the 2024 remastered sound track. Finally “Wildhearts” has its debut on Youtube & the complete album “Through The Looking – Glass” after almost 30 years has its debut digital release on all streaming platforms worldwide.
The original 1995 video was performed by: Ian Parry – vocals (Elegy/Consortium Project/Ayreon)
Rene Merkelbach – Keyboards (Within Temptation/ Gorefest/ Krezip/ Ayreon) Ernst van Ee – Drums (Highway Chile/Vengeance)
Don van Splunteren – Guitar (Ian Parry band)
Will van de Lek – Bass (Ernst van Ee band)
Bass guitar on “Wildhearts” was performed by Marcel van der Zwam (Consortium Project/Wishcraftt)
Filmed by Danny Bliek (Imago Clip) Rotterdam, Netherlands
Produced & remastered by Ian Parry
Mixed by Oscar Holleman (Within Temptation/Krezip).
